Friday, October 27th, 2006I really dislike that term, ex-husband, ex-boyfriend, etc….but then again, ‘ya really can’t call them “former” husband/bfriend and such as it seems they have (rest in peace) left this world for other pastures. of course some x’s are cool, like X-Games, XML, extreme, XO, xcetera. On the other hand, if they still hang around ur life , are they really an “ex”? Or, are they just still in the picture but in the background as an extra (hah) sort of deal, in which case why do they still have the ability to piss u off or cause you to stroll down memory lane and weep. I suppose it’s better than having people you have loved and who have loved you, just disappear into the world.
Then again, why is it just so damn hard to let go? the sound of their voice, the smell of their skin, the glimpse of their hand, and you find urself, right back to X, which marks their spot on you.
